One of South Africa’s most admirable sightseeing and tourist destinations!
On this tour, you will experience some of the world’s most scenic ocean drives through the endemic Fynbos, a treasure chest of floral abundance and diversity, along the majestic backdrop of the Twelve Apostles and Chapman’s Peak, towards the Cape Point Nature Reserve and the “Cape of Storms”, also called the “Cape of Good Hope”, Africa’s most south-westerly point. Stop at some of the picnic spots along the way to enjoy the breathtaking views and take photographs of the rugged cliffs, the seemingly endless beaches, the wondrous ocean, and possibly also whales and dolphins! Then explore Cape Point’s towering rock cliffs, the lighthouse, the monuments in honour of the two famous explorers Vasco da Gama and Bartolomeus Dias, the first Europeans who rounded Cape Point, and abundant wildlife that includes more than 250 bird species, baboons, antelopes, rock hyrax and a fair diversity of smaller mammals and endemic reptiles and insects. Return along the False Bay coastline with a spectacular view of the Hottentots Holland and Helderberg mountain ranges in the distanceottentots Hotte, and pass through the quirky and historic seaside villages of Simon’s Town, Kalk Bay and Muizenberg. The tour also includes a visit to Boulders Beach, home to the world-renowned colony of African Jackass Penguins, where you will see these wonderful flightless birds up close from the boardwalk.
